一份明信片设计的功课

从传统到民间舞蹈中的演变去看一个国家的文化是今次设计明信片我选用的主题。音乐的节奏还是舞者的服装，有一定的精华和艺术价值，都值得我们去知道更多舞蹈所呈现的文化、传统与故事。因此，发扬舞蹈的同时，也是向外界介绍自己国家文化与传统的好时机。

在做这份功课的时候我格外注重于资料小册子的设计，尤其是在排版设计的方面更不由得加倍谨慎，越在意整体的美感，就越要求自己在这方面进步。可惜，重点并不在于那本小册子啊，三张明信片的设计有点好像是被忽略了。反而小册子比明信片还更吸引人的目光（希望不会因此因小失大）。不过，最后出炉的作品还好能让人接受不至于是最难看的一系列就可以了，那才叫人真的松了一口气。

图画灵感来自一位朋友提供的照片和网上找寻到的图片，接着我以简约式手绘出的作品（取自另一份功课，一石二鸟的计划）作为明信片的设计，

配上颜色和花卉图案，加入标题和解说，三张明信片就这样完成了。

My inspiration to these three “Art and Culture of Southeast Asia” themed postcards design came from the dances in Cambodia. My liking for this country actually began one day I come across some photos taken by my friend about the dances in Cambodia.

According to the information I have found, dance in Cambodia consists of three main categories: classical dance of the royal court used for invocation, entertainment and to pay homage, folk dance which portrays cultural traditions, and social dances performed in social gatherings.

The dances in Cambodia are rich and most impressive. From the dances, we are able to see that the distinctive cultural traditions of the country.  The qualities of Cambodia dances that attract me most are their exquisite costume design and their elegant movements & gestures. Another thing that is most impressive about the dance is their music and the story telling through the dance.     

With some photos from my friends as reference, I have used pencil sketching technique to draw out the semi-pro simplify drawing of three different dances. Then I scan my artworks and use Photoshop to enhance the whole visual and add in some artistic graphic design.  

后记：如果说时间再多一点的话，我想应该是可以做得更好一些，更令自己觉得满意。那三张设计的明信片就很可能会有所收藏的价值了。我不晓得这final project拿了几分，考试成绩的消息也还不知道，我就干脆暂时认为自己安全过关了吧。
