灵感变奏


多不少都会从游戏中取得一些设计的灵感,但随着概念的进化或者为了迎合谁谁的意见和风格不得不作出改变,有时并非自己喜欢,有时的确是格格不入,有时更是无言以对,最糟的是百般无奈。可是要是都不能满足不了自己,又怎能满足他人呢?

人都有一双肉眼无法看见的[翅膀],有些人可以轻易发现[翅膀]的存在,有些人即使多努力也无法发现属于自己的[翅膀][翅膀]不会离我们而消失,只是悄悄地被隐藏起来了。究竟要如何才能成为幸运儿呢?追求自由自在的生活就必须付出很多的代价,然而,这些代价是否可以不令自己心疼?既然心疼那就是悲伤,是不是大大的快乐就必须由小小的不快乐组合而成?

最后の梦(5)


离开了黑暗的庭院,脸上眼泪的遗迹也渐渐消失了。或许哭泣后的心情会好转,发泄后的脑袋会更清醒。他听着秋天落叶的旋律,嘴里哼着愉快的曲子,选择宁静地迎接十月的尾声。

他的确真的忘记了痛苦与慌张这两位损友。痛苦曾经使他失去毅力,慌张也曾使他失去镇定,可是他不记仇,他感恩,他谨慎,反而从某件事情上,他所谓失去的其实没有失去,更让他看得清楚其实他拥有的并未真正的拥有。他失去了很多,得到的也很多。他并不感动,他从未真正的被感动过,痛苦与慌张一直纠缠他不清,甚至有时让他失去主见,任由旁人摆布,不过,他耐心面对一切,希望时间快点儿过去,那他就可以离开那片阴影,忘记所有不愉快的事件。

他心里明白,有些人是非常自私的,只有无知的家伙才会上当。他有时自私有时无知,因此他很害怕怪罪任何人,要是他真的那么做,他或许逃不出一份内疚感的折磨(就像是徘徊在另一个黑暗的庭院)。至少在镜子外的世界,他并没有想要怪罪任何人,可是,在他内心深处他恨不得想把那些曾搞得他痛苦和慌张的人送上断头台,至于那些对他落井下石还是对他不理不睬的家伙他期待看着他们落得一败涂地和尴尬万分的下场。试想象痛苦与慌张在仇人的生活中互不让步,他或许也会忍不住偷笑。

谁是坏人谁是好人都不重要,他学会失而复得,他也懂得何为塞翁失马,只要他没有放弃或者自暴自弃,即使苦中作乐,他还是会厚着脸皮看人脸色度过难挨的日子。然而,这里发泄的不满与苦恼算得了什么?天又开始阴暗起来,不过,这一切将会很快过去。很快过去。很快过去。希望很快过去,然后一场大雨,彩虹又会再次出现

好久没听Owl City的歌,这次连同演唱 “Call Me Maybe” Carly Rae Jepsen一同合唱 “Good Time” (<---click)

正因为可能自己好久没有听Owl City独特的旋律,加上这首歌曲简单的歌词还有轻快的旋律,在这接近尾声的时候,不多不少也会让自己回忆起很久以前到外嘻嘻哈哈的good old time,那应该是当大家还未东奔西跑或是感情融洽的日子,可见MV和歌曲搭配得很,我还真希望再一次和大家到野外去来场烧烤聚餐或是乘坐谁的车到很遥远的海边拍那'飘浮'照片

(或许那会是遥不可及的梦。。。)

Dear Diary,

发林新城区开了这间台湾式奶茶与甜品店- 黑丸嫩仙草的分店,几乎每逢星期五妹妹补习过后,我们都会光顾那里吃吃甜品,喝喝奶茶。这天傍晚时分,发林一带地区都好像是停电了,为了等待订购的pizza,于是我们到了附近的BlackBall糖水店去。室内装横简易,空间挺小的,尤其是到了晚上大约十时至十一时左右就高朋满座,就只好选择打包回家慢慢品尝甜品,所以这会是不错的宵夜甜品。


BlackBall招牌甜点-大黑丸,选择了嫩仙草冰沙和鲜奶,价钱RM6.90。我们特别喜欢它的竽圆和芋Q,很有弹性,真的很香甜美味。


我们点了新产品- 奶盖冬瓜茶,加了topping的珍珠,价钱大约五令吉。喝第一口的时候就觉得味道有点怪怪的,像是过于油腻的感觉,大概是放太多奶了,越喝越觉得有点不舒服。我还是比较喜欢黑丸的冬瓜寒天球茶和波霸奶茶。


这已经是第二张收集印章的卡片,我们这一家品尝黑丸甜品的次数应该是多过鲜芋仙甜品,毕竟住宅区附近就只有那么一间有名气的甜品店,只要回家的路线有经过发林区都会停下来进店买甜品奶茶。不过,若论好吃的话,我个人还是喜欢鲜芋仙的甜品。人人都说黑丸的甜品比较美味,可能口味因人而异吧,其实只要是好吃的甜品还是好喝的奶茶,客人再次光顾就很好啦。要是有一间自己喜欢的甜品店开在住家附近,我想自己每晚都会有甜品当宵夜。

1984


意广告有两种:幽默有趣的还是催泪感动的。不过,还有第三种的存在着,那是以电影为概念出发的广告,那会是非常重本和大制作。

这是在1984年第一款苹果电脑上市的电视广告,以那年1984年来命名,以隐喻的故事来传达一种类似在电脑科技领域中有了新改变的讯息。这可是为了一份广告学的功课而让我庆幸发现它的存在。这么一个赢得多奖项的广告,的确值得一提,怎样说任何广告学的学生都有需要阅读关于这广告的报导文章。

听说“1984”20多年前一部非常轰动的电视广告。广告的开始是某个不知名的机械未来世界,广告中的神秘首脑企图将一群受控和看似提不起劲来的新人类洗脑,紧张期待的画面渐渐逼近,直到救星降临挥斧击碎荧幕,然后人们从中得以真正的醒觉。然后,广告中出现了旁白者的话,“On January 24th, Apple Computer will introduce Macintosh. And you'll see why 1984 won't be like "1984."”,是新产品的出现改变了未来,这一改变扭转了局势,看来我们都感受到了。脚踏实地盲目跟随社会的脚步有点叫人觉得沉闷,不过,要是有某股外来强大的力量,人们的生活就会有历史性一刻的全新改变。

这广告也是Ridley Scott导演的代表之作。说这广告的拍摄风格,若观赏过Ridley Scott导演的两大电影作品-ALIEN》和《BLADE RUNNER》的话,多少也会觉得对此广告有着似曾相似之感。

最后の梦(4)


乎屡次断线了,他尝试忘记自己曾写了些什么应该是其他人也会觉得萧索无趣又郁闷的心情记载。他必须承认自己的错误和懦弱,他有点孤单寂寞,他有点无助,但是他必须坚持下去。不说任何幻觉还是错觉的存在,其实,他一直都在沉睡着,沉睡着,他想在梦里找回属于自己的心。

那一天结束后回到家,他疲惫不堪地躺在床上,什么事也不想交代,有史以来他从未那么快就入睡。无论是精神还是体力,得到了什么还是失去了什么,这样还是那样都没有任何关系,他假装可以不再计较,他或许已经无法忍受,他崩溃了。他的理智告诉他胡思乱想还是抱有假希望只会让他更难受和劳累而已。他不想成为吃不到葡萄就说葡萄酸的狐狸!再想,又怎样?他只需要休息,他开始要睡着了一直睡,一直睡到他有勇气张开眼睛面对全新的一天。

‘这种典礼很美丽又耀眼,但是主要欢呼的对象似乎只是荣获Merit Award之上的学子们而已,坐在前方熟悉的朋友们或是不曾见面的新生们,还是某日在我身旁擦身而过的陌生人,我不由得从内心发起一种崇敬和妒嫉。当时,我只觉得前方台阶的渺小有如自己。。。’

赛事已经尘埃落定了吗?游戏已经真的结束了吗?他在孤寂的庭院中望着经不起微风考验的灯火摇摆着那身躯,蠢蠢欲动即将面临熄灭的命运,多少飞蛾的灵魂在黑暗中徘徊期待着谁为它们复仇。他回想自己曾不知量力,落得如蚍蜉、蜉蝣和飞蛾的下场。回过神来他又不知怎么害怕失去那团在心中燃烧的火,他很努力地保护着它,即使已经遍体鳞伤了也无所谓,他需要为自己找寻出口,他需要走出那黑暗的庭院。

‘自讨苦吃、自取耻辱、白费心机?也许是上天在暗示我在这里只不过是一团即将消失的鬼火,这里或许不再会有我的名字出现,我以前所付出的努力也只不过换来是一个不认识的名字。我的名字不见了,仿佛是命中注定,我早就该在。。。’


噩梦好像是为忧虑、悲观和绝望的人而存在。

Taylor Swift – Begin Again


When there’s a song you are so interested and love to listen to, it is double the memory when you write about it and share it with your friends. A new song and music video – ‘Begin Again’ by Taylor Swift (<---click) just released few days ago. It’s the second single from Taylor Swift’s album Red. The music video steals my heart away with every scene! The music video is very elegantly made and being so different from any previous music videos, indeed, partly because the background of it is in Paris. I really like the song and the story. For me, the song is sentimental.  

A new different love story introduced. Start of something new or come across a new love after a really horrible breakup. Getting positive and optimistic is requiring lot of courage, it's not an easy thing to leave all the things behind, but we deserve a better life. Take a break, go on a new chapter in your love story. If you link it back to the previous music video of Taylor Swift’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting BackTogether’, you will definitely see the whole love story of the protagonist. I’m sure the fans of Taylor Swift will be thrilled.  Whatever the stories we discover through the music videos or the lyrics of the songs, it is up to us to decide whether indulge in the rhythm and the mood of the love songs.


D & G Fragrance Anthology (2009)


Here’s a creative copywriting assignment that I’ve done for a print ad analysis. I’m still kinda new to perfumes and I purposely choose the D & G Fragrance Anthology (2009) as the topic of my research on account of I’m quite interested in the perfumes and decided to know more about this series of perfumes.  Yes, I have heard of it, but never really read about it. I really love the tv commercial (<---click) and print ads.  The products are absolutely awesome in term of the design and the fragrances.

Perfumes appeal more to psychographic segmentation. Most of the perfume brand companies are designing their perfumes for specific socioeconomic classes, lifestyle and personality. Most of the perfumes, target individuals, especially educated, socializing and fashion conscious women and men, who want to be distinctive from others, and are confident in their lives.    

There are eight fragrances in this series of D & G Fragrance Anthology that D&G intends to answer the fundamental human question: “Who am I? Who do I want to be?”  By making use of the selected Tarot cards as the numbers and names of the perfumes, it tends to let consumer to think, to choose and to discover of their own identity and destiny. Five fragrances are being selected and emphasized through the print ad, the fragrances are 1 Le Bateleur (the Magician/ The Fool), 3 L’Imperatrice (the Empress), 6 L’Amoureaux (the Lovers), 10 La Roue de la Fortune (Wheel of Fortune) and 18 La Lune (the Moon). The products have strong brand preference and loyalty. In short, the target audience relates to the confidence of the advertisement and the desire to acquire the distinctive personality each fragrance offers. The fragrances encompass emotions such as triumph, pride and desire to build confidence. 

The advertisement features six supermodels of three 90s’ well-known female models (Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Eva Herzigova) and three much younger up-and-coming male models (Noah Mills, Fernando Fernandez, and Tyson Billou). Eva Herzigova was getting in touch with Fernando Fernandez to portrait as the Lovers. Tyson Billou was standing at the left alone to represent the Magician. Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Noah Mills were sitting at the front line side by side to represent the Empress, the Moon and the Wheel of Fortune.

The print advertisement has utilized a simple major colour mood consist of different skin colour of the models that suggests all people no matter who you are, you have the right to deserve your recognizable personality and the grey colour is used as the plain background. The nice and simple background colour scheme associated with the five different fragrances’ colour which are colourful, as the colour scheme standing out one by one from light blue, pink, green, indigo until yellow colour. The colour scheme of the fragrance appeals to the viewers and suggests that each fragrance represents different unique attribute and personality. The overall feeling of print advertisement is like the supermodels the viewers that buy the fragrance can be confident and aspired, not to mention to suit their distinctive personality.

The six supermodels are in their attractive pose with their eyes looking at the front and at the viewers. Their cool gaze shows that they are not only confident but also satisfied with what they have and proud to be their own selves. I like the boldness of it using naked models in the print ads, somehow it delivers a kind of confident to viewers that using the perfumes will ensure you to gain confidence and fulfill your esteem needs. It’s attractive and gorgeous sex appeal; interesting and engaging visual; simple layout and nice composition. The print ad is quite effective in the planning of visual hierarchy to convey the message step by step from idea to products.

However, at the moment, frankly to say that I can’t afford to purchase any 1 of them.  By the way, since I've just done my research about it, I can’t wait to get 1 of them or a special edition collectible package of 5 perfumes together that my friend has already owned it. Perhaps can I just wish for a 10 La Roue de la Fortune or  a 18 La Lune as a Xmas present of this year? lolz

奇幻国度


个小孩都会有一个以幻想形成又不为人知的奇幻国度。那个梦幻的国度拒绝所有现实大人们的侵入,开心冒险的日子非常短暂,最后创造出那个世界的主人无法前进,那扇通往奇幻国度的大门也渐渐地被遗忘了现在的你还记得吗?

[怪诞复活狗] Frankenweenie(2012)

~个人联想~

1. 复活的灵魂怀疑自己是否是恶魔的化身,只是违反了生死的定律,人们对此的疑惑和恐惧…若深入探讨的话,主题的确有点深度(有意思)。

2. 科学怪人的天才儿童和复活狗,飞天蝙蝠猫,狼鼠,木乃伊丝虫,鬼怪水猴子。。。这应该是今年万圣节最应景和最特别的电影!


~故事简介~

小男孩Victor與他的小狗Sparky都是異類,與環境格格不入的他們相知相惜,情感濃厚。Victor是一個非常內向的瘋狂小科學家,成天不是與Sparky玩在一起就是做他的科學實驗。

後來,他最好的朋友Sparky不幸在路上被車撞死了。失去心愛的小狗Victor傷心不已,開始突發奇想要試著讓Sparky復活,沒想到Victor的科學實驗成功地讓Sparky起死回生。VictorSparky藏在家中,以免洩漏這個驚人的秘密。但Sparky每天仍偷偷跟著Victor去上課……

某天,被學校的大嘴巴發現了這件事,維多能讓動物起死回生的傳言在學校傳開,小朋友紛紛把家中死去的寵物從院子挖出來,要求維多幫忙,於是維多就進行更多瘋狂的實驗,接著一場瘋狂的大鬧劇就要在這個小鎮上演

~观后感~

这是一部重拍1984Tim Burton导演的同名微电影作品,故事简单得几乎可以从电影的预告片中都猜得出来大概的来龙去脉,唯一特别的是那种观看感觉与其他动画电影给于的视觉享受非常不一样。


随着电脑动画科技的普及,我们都观赏了多部画面颜色耀眼又接近真实的动画或许这部动画采用了黑白视觉效果,有一点黑白文艺之感,对我而言,就是有新鲜感;  或许它是一部stop motion 3D电影,观看电影时特别使人仔细留意其画面的每一细节和当中角色每一刹的神态,的确佩服导演到底使用了多少的人偶模型还有照片拍摄组合成这部作品,背后的制作无疑是复杂伤脑筋的工程。


播放电影时,电影院里的昏暗环境层次和气氛都与平时不一样,最令人着迷的应该是那种观赏classic films的感觉,清晰呈现出黑白灰效果,令角色更立体化。另外,我特别喜欢的是电影中的角色模型之设计灵感和设计心思,充分体现出导演Tim Burton那有个性、怪诞色彩和诡异的风格。

就已经知晓所有在最后登场的复活宠物怪兽有哪几只。


这是一部看似简单,但却充满独特个性的动画电影。差点忘了介绍主题曲 ’Pet Sematary’ by Plain White T’s 还有结尾曲 ‘Strange Love’ by Karen O,两首收入在 FrankenweenieUnleashed!专集都好好听。

LISA LEE CREATIVE 明信片 (5+1)




了我和妹妹外,相信还有更多其他人都有这喜好-收藏画家和设计师的明信片,尤其是每次到书店还是某些节日的展示会时,发现那些有收藏价值和图案设计得很特别的明信片系列,要是价钱不贵,都会想购买为个人收藏。

这一系列来自设计师 Lisa Lee www.liselle.com.my)的明信片是在Young Designer Art Carnival 的时候购买的。一张明信片的价钱是RM1,买五张就送一张。当时我和妹妹挑选了这一系列设计师以服装绘画(fashion illustration)为主题的明信片。

画家和设计师的明信片最为特出。制造出属于自己的明信片,成为人人追随的设计师那应该是一个完美的梦。

吃吃吃吃吃


近自己的肚子特别饿似的,平时不吃早餐的自己竟然开始天天吃起早餐。吃完了早餐,午餐又吃,晚餐又吃,宵夜点心更不会错过,晚上睡不着还是到厨房里找吃的。。。要是这样吃下去,真希望可以增肥,而且要适度地肥在该肥的部位就好。尤其是出门一趟,搭巴士又在烈日下走远路所消耗的能量挺多的。或许经常这样劳累运动过度,真的需要很多能量补充。

最近自己都在吃的:

早餐:经济炒面和经济炒河粉; 或者中式点心
午餐:丰富的经济饭和西式面包还有烧包
晚餐:丰盛的晚饭;或者炒金旦面; 或者排骨王炒饭; 或者麻辣板面; 或者肉骨茶面
宵夜:烧包,叉烧酥和波罗包; McD汉堡包套餐;或者BlackBall糖水; 或者大粽子和广东粽; 或者水饺蟹柳快熟面

写着写着…我突然很想吃laksa和cendui。我很久没吃东炎面和西餐了,还有热腾腾的麻辣蚝煎!我很怀念蘑菇汤的味道,很想左咬一口肉干面包,右咬一口曼煎糕。我想吃蛋煎牛油面包,我也想吃爪哇面,我还想吃…>o<

最后の梦(3)



花花世界里,最让他在意的应该是言语: 恶意还是善意的批评; 真心真意还是虚情假意的赞美; 指令似的要求还是马虎似的交代; 幽默的对话还是讽刺的交谈等,都得再三捉摸当中隐藏的意思。他当然觉得累,因此,很多时候他希望如果情况允许的话他都会选择保持沉默,不想太多,不多回应。思考他人和自己的言语中是否也得需要带有隐藏的意思为的是是为自己(而说的谎言)还是为他人(而说的肺腑之言)?或许是他本身搞错了语言与文字的差别,所以才会觉得那么的累。

结果还未来得及说出真心话还是真想法,他已禁不住说出类似应酬还是客气的开场白或是干脆利落的结论。他语无伦次了吗?他口是心非的言语比欺骗他人的谎言还来得更多,不过,他可是一点也不愿意。谁不希望一针见血或是开门见山说出自己的想法?每个人都会藉由不同场合不同对象就用不同的沟通方式来应付,又或者说些好听的话来奉承他人,如果说怕招惹麻烦的话,同时又要保护到自己,到头来还不是用谎言蒙混过关。那只是为了自己。

若是为他人最害怕的是当话一说出就难以不当一回事了。除非自己愿意当讨人厌的反派角色,那就没有任何关系,反正不用对自己说过的话负责任。算了吧,他还是决定为了自己而说话说谎说故事。他到底说了多少个连自己也难以分辨真假的故事?他想提醒自己并非真正的哑巴,他并不是沉默不语的,他的确有自己的想法和意见。

WAYne Design


Advertising Campaign/ Corporate Identity Design/ Branding/ Photography/ Illustration/ Story-boarding 

年在The One Academy Penang Graphic and Advertising课程快要结束。一直以来资料分析和CID还有广告学都是我的强项(算是吧),大部分设计都以简约的风格为主。说到设计心思,大概就是多读多看多吸收灵感和提升自己的审美观,然后再从自己的创意概念出发制作出属于自己的作品。平面设计里讲究美学、构图、颜色和字体设计,而广告设计注重于概念和商业需求,两方面都必须兼顾着。当然,还学习了关于纸张选材和颜色印刷的知识。其实,真正领悟到的是只要在能力、体力和时间许可下做出不丢人现眼还是满足自己的作品就已经很幸运了。若自己的作品有着最佳的视觉震撼力,那应该会是一种感动。

[狙击电话亭] Phone Booth (2003)

~PLOT~

The suspense movie was bought by 20th Century Fox and director of John Schumacher. It was a crime, suspense and psychological English film, entitled Phone Booth. The movie offers an exciting “mind game” plot between the mysterious caller and the main character. The all-star included Colin Farrell as Stu Shepard, Kiefer Sutherland as the mysterious Caller, Forest Whitaker as the inspector, Radha Mitchell as Kelly, Katies Holmes as Pamela.

The main character, Stu Shepard is held hostage and trapped inside a phone booth in New York City after he answered the mysterious phone call by an anonymous. He is threated to reveal his entire secret, lies and truth to his wife, Kelly and his lover, Palm. He is warned not to leave the phone booth and all of his moves are restricted. Conflicts arise when three prostitutes and a pimp asked him to come out from the phone booth.      



~REVIEW~

The greatness of this movie is fewer characters are used to develop the plot and location is fixed into one place almost from the beginning till the end of the movie. The whole film shows the struggling and also conversation between the main character and the Caller. The director has made the scene convincingly engaging from time to time. That, in my opinion, is the uniqueness of this film. I seldom watch this kind of movie; I prefer fantasy, fairy-tale and science-fiction movies. However, I enjoy it because of the suspense element and the exciting plot. Frankly, I’ve watched this film before when I was in secondary school.   

There was a slight emotional and sentimental element in Phone Booth when Stu has decided to confess of his own personality and tell the truth of his relationship with Kelly and Pam in front of everyone. Anyone could empathize with these feelings and pay attention to him.        

For me Phone Booth has shown the nature of human emotions. After digesting the story, you will understand the concept of the film and see how human react or solve their problem during their panic situation. People are unconscious about the stress shaping their behaviour. The self-imposed stress and outside pressures by other people will make a person hardly to be rationale and logic.  A person’s decision is greatly influenced by psychological factors and the environment.

白电影与3D电影; 印象派的画作和抽象画的作品; 舞会和酒吧; 书信与电邮;还有时间与空间。两个时代左右并存的奇幻感令人着迷,又或者对男女主角分别在自己的时空下与对方交往,度过苦与乐的日子,感受到热情与挣扎而有所感触?

的确有种似曾相识的感觉,曾经看过象这样的爱情电影,穿越时空的爱人还是一对情人爱在不同的时代里。不用多说,对品牌永恒不变的爱意如同广告中<---click)呈现的爱情故事,随同背景音乐“Never Tear Us Apart”,我早就已经禁不住投入在其中了。
