Mele Kalikimaka (Hawaiian Christmas Song)
It’s almost Christmas, people in the city are starting
decorate their house with all the Christmas decoration, planning festive party
to celerate, not to mention choosing some favourite classic Christmas songs to
add into the playlist. (Surf on to the Youtube for searching...)
1 week ago, I saw someone posting a rather new Christmas
song, and that’s quite new to me, perhaps. It’s called “Mele Kalikimaka”, in
other words - Merry Christmas. Is a Hawaiian-themed Christmas song written in
1949 by Robert Alex Anderson. Well, because of the Pokemon latest game setting
takes place in Alola, which based on Hawaii and my favourite Disney animation -
Moana giving the feeling of sun, ocean and tropical island, definitely got the
Aloha feel, so perhaps this Christmas is not completely in Winter theme at all.
Oh great, the music is so Alola or Aloha, just playing it
while playing my game, the feeling is so wonderful and imagining I’m away from
here. Almost Christmas, guess, 5 more working days counting down to year-end
holiday!
